Hul-Ster Construction & Roofing: A Legacy Carried Forward

The story of Hul-Ster began in 2001 with Hul-Ster Construction, founded by lifelong friends and business partners, Yancy Hulsey and Mark Feemster. Together, they built a company grounded in craftsmanship, integrity, and trust. The name “Hul-Ster” itself was born from the merging of their last names—Hulsey and Seamster—symbolizing partnership and shared vision.

Over the years, the next generation began to carry the torch. Brady Hulsey grew up immersed in construction, working alongside his father through summers, weekends, and school breaks. By the time he graduated from college in 2021, Brady had already been integrated into running and eventually leading Hul-Ster Construction, continuing its tradition of excellence in commercial projects.

At the same time, Bryan Seamster was building his own foundation of grit and determination. A standout baseball player, Bryan’s drive for excellence earned him the opportunity to play college ball at Ole Miss before moving to Texas to pursue his business education at Texas Tech. Beyond athletics, his passion and curiosity for construction and roofing fueled years of self-taught experience, as he mastered the trade through hands-on work, relentless effort, and a commitment to excellence in everything he does.

It was at Texas Tech that Brady and Bryan’s friendship deepened even further. Best friends since elementary school, they spent those years living together, working side by side, and pushing each other to grow personally and professionally. Those experiences laid the groundwork for what would later become their shared business vision.

In February of 2024, Hul-Ster expanded its legacy with the launch of Hul-Ster Roofing, founded by Brady Hulsey and Bryan Seamster. The name once again fit seamlessly—HUL-sey and Seam-STER—tying the past to the future. Together, they brought complementary strengths to the table: Brady with his deep background in commercial construction and Bryan with his vast roofing knowledge and hands-on expertise. Their combined skills, paired with years of friendship and trust, created the perfect team to build Hul-Ster Roofing into a company that stands for quality, reliability, and care for its clients.
